Overview
Join our team as a Cafe Supervisor, where you will lead in delivering exceptional food service experiences in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, service delivery, and adherence to safety standards
- Lead and motivate staff through training, development, and performance management to uphold high service quality
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and processing transactions accurately
- Coordinate shift schedules and manage staffing levels to meet customer demand during peak hours
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the cafe
- Assist with food production, cooking, and food handling as needed to support team efforts during busy periods
Experience
- Supervisory or management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food service management
- Background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards, and budgeting within the food industry
- Leadership in staff training, team management, interviewing candidates, and developing talent
- Hospitality management roles including restaurant management is highly desirable
- Customer service skills with the ability to handle cash handling responsibilities confidently
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
