Staffing Boutique is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Social Worker at a charter school in the Bronx. This role is responsible for providing counseling services and supporting students’ social-emotional and attendance needs while working closely with school leadership and families.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time | In-Person
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to students who have been referred for social-emotional support
- Collaborate with school leadership to ensure students’ needs are effectively supported through school programming
- Analyze student attendance data with the support of school leadership
- Develop and implement strategic intervention plans for students struggling with attendance
- Facilitate conversations with students and their families regarding attendance concerns
- Develop and lead monthly parent workshops focused on strategies to support student success
- Work collaboratively with student support teams to ensure students with special needs and English Language Learners are effectively supported
- Contribute to a positive, structured environment that promotes student success and well-being
Requirements:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an urban school setting
- Strong belief that all students deserve access to a college-preparatory education
- Experience supporting diverse learners, including students with special needs and English Language Learners
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and community members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform interventions
