Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Travel Assignment

Unit: Adult & Geriatric Psychiatry
Start Date: ASAP / Pending Compliance
Contract Length: 7 Weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: No weekends or holidays
Guaranteed Hours: Full-time Schedule
Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 7-week travel/Local assignment on a locked geriatric psychiatry unit. This position focuses on providing social work services to adult and older/geriatric patients.
Requirements:
- Active MA LCSW License required at time of submission
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Minimum 2+ years of Social Work experience
- Acute care experience required
- Experience working with older adults and/or psychiatric units preferred
- Travel experience preferred (first-time travelers will be considered)
- Must obtain CANS Certification prior to start
Position Details:
- Unit: Adult & Geriatric Psychiatry
- No floating required
- No on-call requirement
- No block scheduling
- Every other weekend or weekends as required
- Charge capability highly preferred
- Any scrub color accepted
- Weekly orientation required (including Epic class)
Additional Information:
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted (local rate applies)
- Must be agreeable to a 7-week assignment before submission
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- Must work every other major holiday as required
