We are seeking a creative Floral Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting beautiful floral arrangements that meet the needs of our customers while showcasing your artistic flair. You will work in a dynamic retail environment where collaboration and customer service are key to creating memorable experiences for our clients.
Schedule is flexible but looking for some Saturdays and 1-2 weekdays. If you are the right person and would prefer to work more hours there is that option. If you are only available one day a week please call us.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including funeral, prom work, and everyday celebrations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Manage inventory by restocking supplies and ensuring all materials are organized and readily available.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing customer orders efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workspace and retail area.
- Engage in e-commerce activities by assisting with order fulfillment.
Skills
- Proficient in floral design techniques with a strong aesthetic sense.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience with cash handling and retail math to manage transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve sales goals.
- Knowledge of stock management practices to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
