Children’s Art Instructor — Fall Variable Schedule
Fibo Kids Art Academy is hiring dependable, creative art instructors for several part-time openings at our Cypress and Fountain Valley studios.
Current Fall Openings
Cypress
Fountain Valley — Position 1
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00–7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Fountain Valley — Position 2
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3:00–7:00 p.m.
These positions are expected to run approximately August 25 through December 31, 2026.
Each schedule is paired with other employees who work the remaining days needed to staff the studio. Because of this, days, hours, and locations are subject to change if employee availability or staffing needs change.
At the end of the fall term, Fibo will reassess company needs, available schedules, and the employee’s availability and performance to determine whether continued employment is available. Continued employment and future hours are not guaranteed.
Pay
- Paid training: $20/hour
- Support Instructor: $23/hour
- Certified Art Instructor: $24/hour
Advancement is based on training, performance, reliability, position availability, longevity, and company needs.

Training is customized to the employee’s assigned schedule and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist and teach students ages 4–18
- Demonstrate drawing, painting, and mixed-media techniques
- Follow Fibo’s curriculum and classroom systems
- Manage student behavior
- Prepare materials and complete setup and cleanup
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and coworkers
- Apply feedback and arrive reliably and on time
Qualifications
A completed degree is not required.
Strong candidates may have a background in:
- Studio art or fine art
- Illustration
- Animation
- Graphic design
- Art history
- Art education
- Education
- Other visual-art or teaching fields
Applicants must have strong art skills, enjoy working with children, communicate clearly, and be willing to follow a structured curriculum.
This position may be especially well suited to working artists, freelancers, college students, and future art teachers seeking meaningful classroom experience.
