Job Summary:
The housekeeping personnel shall have responsibility for general sanitation and Orderliness of the building and residents’ rooms, equipment, lines, personal laundry.
Necessary for providing proper resident care within the facility.
Special Demands:

Must Be able to carry and lift a minimum of 40lbs

Must be able to safely use all cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, carpet
-
Scrubbers, etc.

Must be able to bend, walk, stoop, climb and stand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose is to perform the daily assignments of the housekeeping department in accordance with the current Federal, State, and local regulations, standards and guidelines governing the facility as well as Windsor Medical Center’s policies and protocol. The housekeeping department is to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment including the sanitation of resident’s belongings and cleanliness of laundry. Housekeepers are to follow infection control policies and procedure and complete all reasonable duties whether assigned or not.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma preferred
Experience: None required, but experience in healthcare facility setting is preferred
Job Knowledge:
- Be respectful and polite at all times with residents, personnel, family members and visitors.

- Must attend mandatory and complete all other training requirements.
Standards Ohio Department of Health, OSHA, infection Control Policies and Procedures.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: None required but experience in a health care facility setting is preferred.
