Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Owner's Representative / Project Manager located in Orlando, FL. The role involves overseeing project scope creation, managing bid processes, supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. This key role serves as the primary point-of-contact and daily manager for multiple concurrent multi-building rehabilitation projects in active construction (or a single, new construction project). The ideal candidate will also lead consulting efforts for clients preparing for upcoming rehabilitation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central liaison between clients, contractors, and Vigilant Services’ leadership.
- Lead clients through the full project lifecycle — from initial consultation and root-cause analysis through scope creation, RFP generation, bidder management, and final project execution.
- Oversee project performance in terms of quality, cost, and schedule, delivering transparent, data-driven reports to clients.
- Produce clear, concise weekly reports and deliver professional presentations in client and industry forums.
- Operate autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with the Vigilant Services Leadership Team.
- Contribute to business development by fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for future engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, project management, building envelope consulting, or a related discipline.
- Strong skills in Relationship Building and Client Management
- Strong technical understanding of building envelope systems and construction processes.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in PMP or similar is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple active construction projects with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, salaried position
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes unpaid lunch)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: Starting at $80,000 (based on years of experience and education), with annual raises
- Additional compensation: 10%–15% annual bonus opportunity
- Total Compensation (including benefits, paid holidays, and retirement): valued up to $106,000

EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL MINIMUMS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with 5+ years working experience in a related discipline
