Job Overview
We are looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Team Members to join our new Poke Bowl restaurant in Middletown, NY.As a Poke Bowl Team Member, you will help prepare fresh ingredients, assemble customized poke bowls, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and organized restaurant. We are looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.No poke bowl experience is required. Training will be provided. Restaurant, kitchen, food preparation, or customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Assemble poke bowls accurately based on customer orders.
- Prepare rice, vegetables, proteins, sauces, and toppings.
- Follow proper portion-control procedures.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and food-safety standards.
- Keep the serving line stocked, clean, and organized.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders and operate the POS/cash register when needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Wash dishes, utensils, food-preparation equipment, and work areas.
- Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Receive and properly store food deliveries when assigned.
- Work together with kitchen, line, and front-counter team members.
- Follow all restaurant policies and New York food-safety requirements.
Qualifications

- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
- Willingness to learn food preparation and proper sanitation procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
