Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
Duties
- Open the front of house for the restaurant
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable upon arrival
- Assist with seating reservations and walk in parties
- Manage take out orders over the phone and through our online ordering system
- Bag and prepare take out orders to be picked up
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover and timely service
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions
- Restock take out desserts and sodas as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Customer service experience required
- Restaurant experience preferred
- Must be able to work both independently and as a team
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings and weekends as required
- Week day availability a MUST - both lunch and dinner shifts
