JOB TITLE: Delivery Associate (Senior Warehouse Associate)
JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Warehouse Associate drives truck or automobile over established route to deliver/pick up merchandise and other materials, and receives, stores, and distributes inventory by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drives trucks to deliver inventory, materials, tools, or other stock items to stores and stacks appropriately.
- Sorts and places materials or items in stacks and organizes by size, color, or product code.
- Records the amount of materials or items received or distributed.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas in stores.
- Locates and selects merchandise and verifies against delivery sheet specifications.
- Reads shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stacks and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
- Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.
- Documents information related to receipts and deliveries by obtaining appropriate signatures.
- Responsible for all shipping and receiving documentation to and from the warehouse.
- Participates in monthly warehouse inventory activities, such as prepping and counting products and investigating variances.
- Utilizes an inventory scan system to verify product accuracy and complete inventory tasks.
- Ensures that routinely scheduled maintenance and cleaning is performed on department vehicles.
- Participates in janitorial maintenance of warehouse facilities and office facility grounds such as sweeping, taking out trash, and consolidating empty pallets.
- Fills requisitions or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to stores.
- Assist Warehouse Associates in performing warehouse duties as needed.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.

- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) OR
- o Internal Transfers allowed 6 months to prepare and pass CDL Training Class and Test
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivery, distribution, warehouse, or route driving required
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Clean driving record meeting company standards
- Familiarity with handheld scanners or delivery apps a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to speak, read, and write English in a capacity sufficient to perform the tasks of the position.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
