JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dependable Fire Sprinkler Helper to support our technicians and inspectors in daily field operations. This role is hands-on and requires someone who is punctual, organized, and serious about learning the trade. You will assist with inspections, service work, materials handling, and maintaining clean, efficient workspaces (both trucks and shop).
This position is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in the fire protection industry and are ready to work hard, stay organized, and take direction well.
DUTIES
- Assist Fire Sprinkler Technicians and Inspectors on job sites
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment as needed
- Keep the work truck clean, stocked, and properly organized
- Maintain a tidy shop, storage area, and material inventory
- Support basic tasks such as hanging pipe, cutting threaded rod, assembling small components, etc.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers when needed
- Learn system components and trade basics over time
QUALIFICATIONS
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently without issues
- Strong work ethic and willingness to follow instruction
- Ability to lift materials, handle tools, and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working on ladders and in mechanical rooms
- Basic organization skills (cleaning, sorting, stocking, labeling, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
- Experience in construction, mechanical work, or maintenance is a plus, but not required
Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
