We're looking for a creative, self-directed marketer to grow Sacred Ally's organic visibility and community — producing vibrant social content, nurturing the audience we already have, and drawing new people in — while setting up the basic tracking and paid tools that tell us it's working.
Who we are
Sacred Ally Empowerment Arts Center is Missoula's healing arts and community gathering space — home to 19 practitioners offering massage, bodywork, sound healing, breathwork, sacred ceremony, movement and yoga, workshops, and Montana's first ceremonial cacao bar. We host intimate music events, retreats, and community gatherings rooted in intentional, earth-honoring values. Our community is loyal and engaged; our offerings are growing; and we're ready to invest in marketing that builds real visibility and brings new people through our doors.
What you'll do
In rough order of where your hours go.
Creative social content (the core of the role)
- Capture the real experience of Sacred Ally — film and photograph classes, events, practitioners, the cacao bar, and the space. Focus on people and feeling, not empty-room shots.
- Produce short-form video and graphics for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — shoot, edit, caption, publish. Consistent and authentic beats polished.
- Turn each event and offering into content that makes people want to show up — leading with the human moments and the why, not just the schedule.
- Use AI tools to repurpose one piece of content into many (an event recap into posts, stories, and an email) so limited hours cover more ground.
Organic visibility & inbound engagement
- Grow reach and engagement organically — build a consistent posting rhythm that earns follows, shares, and saves.
- Actively nurture the community: respond to comments and DMs, engage with local accounts and partners, and keep the private Missoula Signal group warm.
- Keep the Google Business Profile active with fresh photos, posts, and event updates to support local discovery.
- Support light email nurturing — drafting and scheduling the newsletter and event follow-ups (the owner handles strategy and list segments).
Paid campaigns & progress tracking (front-loaded, then light-touch)
- Set up and run simple Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns using Advantage+ automation to promote events, the yoga program, and services to a tight local audience. The owner guides budget and priorities.
- Add UTM links to campaigns and posts so activity shows up correctly in analytics. (The owner sets up and maintains the GA4 tracking itself.)
- Track your own progress in GA4 — monitor the engagement and conversion metrics that matter (traffic from social, event registrations, booking clicks, email signups) and adjust what you do based on what they show.
- Deliver a short monthly report that connects your activity to real outcomes — bookings, event registrations, follows, engagement — not just impressions.
B2B outreach support (owner-led)
- Help the owners grow workplace-wellness revenue: build a target list of Missoula employers and the right contacts, and help create a simple one-page services sheet.
- Run first-touch outreach — email and follow-up — to book demos (chair massage, team sound baths, workshops). The owners lead the sales conversations and close.
- Track outreach activity and demos booked alongside your other reporting.
What we're looking for
Required
- Hands-on creative production. You can shoot and edit short-form video and make clean, on-brand graphics — on a phone is fine. Show us examples.
- Real social media experience. You've grown and managed business accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — organically, not just boosted posts.
- Strong, human writing. Captions, event copy, and emails that sound like a real person and match a brand voice.
- Community instinct. You understand that engagement is a relationship — you reply, you connect, you nurture, not just broadcast.
- Comfortable with B2B outreach. You'll support the owners' workplace-wellness push — building a target list of Missoula employers, helping create a one-page services sheet, and doing first-touch outreach to book demos. The owners lead the sales conversations; you help open doors and keep outreach moving.
- Comfortable with analytics and Meta ads. You can run an Advantage+ campaign and, using the GA4 setup the owner provides, track your own engagement and conversion metrics and act on what they show. You don't set up the tracking; you use it.
- AI-fluent and efficient. You use AI tools to work faster, and you're economical with hours — you make a small budget go far.
- Self-directed and reliable. You take a plan and deliver consistently without daily oversight. Follow-through matters more than anything else here.
- Local to Missoula. You can be in the space regularly to capture content and attend events. This is essential — the content is the space and the people.
A strong plus
- Experience marketing a wellness, fitness, hospitality, or events business.
- Genuine alignment with Sacred Ally's mission and community — our audience can tell when it's real.
- Familiarity with email tools (Mailchimp / MailerLite) and Google Business Profile.
Not part of this role
- SEO, website, and analytics setup — the owner handles these. Tracking will be configured for you; you use it to measure your work.
- High-end design or motion graphics — authentic and consistent beats fancy.
How this role is set up to succeed on limited hours
You are not doing this alone or from scratch. You'll work against a marketing plan that already exists. The owner sets high-level direction and handles SEO and website strategy. You bring the craft and the consistency.
You'll use AI to stretch every hour. We expect you to use AI tools (e.g. Claude) to speed up drafting, repurposing, and production so your time goes to the things only a human can do — filming real moments, judgment, and connection.
Analytics is set up for you. The owner sets up and maintains the tracking (Google Analytics 4). Your job is to use it — track your own engagement and conversion metrics and let the data guide what you do.
Paid is assisted, not manual. We use Meta's built-in campaign automation (Advantage+), so you don't need to be a media-buying specialist — you need to set clear goals, feed it good creative, and read the results.
The focus is organic first. The heart of this role is earned, inbound visibility and engagement — content people find, follow, and share — not just ad spend.
