Colf Construction is a civil construction company seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead active projects from planning through completion. This is a hands-on role, where you'll coordinate the field crews, subcontractors, and engineers that keep a project moving. We're looking for someone who can run their own projects, make sound decisions in the field, and deliver quality work on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, keeping work on schedule, on budget, and within scope
- Coordinate and lead project teams, subcontractors, engineers, and field employees to keep every piece of the process moving
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting
- Review plans, specifications, and drawings; manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders
- Monitor quality, safety, and adherence to contract requirements
- Anticipate and resolve issues before they impact schedule or cost, and communicate clearly with all parties involved
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project-specific field labor
- Ensure required paperwork is completed and submitted on a regular basis to stay compliant with regulatory agencies such as Washington State L&I
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation, including daily field reports, logs, and records
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing civil construction projects
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and make sound decisions with minimal oversight
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the flexibility to manage competing priorities across several projects at once
- Effective leadership and communication skills for managing teams, subcontractors, engineers, and field crews
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls
- Working knowledge of construction safety practices and quality standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
