Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our coil coating facility in Fairland, IN. This position is entirely focused on hands-on work directly on the production floor, where you will be responsible for maintaining plant utilities and manufacturing machinery within a heavy industrial setting. The successful applicant will possess a robust background in electrical maintenance and demonstrate the mechanical proficiency needed to diagnose and fix complex industrial systems.
Shift Details-
3rd Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

2-2-3 Rotating Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off, repeating throughout the year
-
12-hour shifts that include opportunities for extra hours
Core Duties-
Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in production machinery

Execute routine preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability

Analyze electrical problems related to sensors, controls, motors, and industrial wiring
-
Maintain and restore mechanical components such as conveyors, gearboxes, chains, pumps, bearings, and couplings
-
Troubleshoot issues within pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
-
Oversee the upkeep of plant infrastructure, including wastewater treatment, boilers, compressed air, and evaporators
-
Utilize mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics to guide repairs
-
Record all maintenance activities within the CMMS platform
-
Ensure a safe working environment by strictly adhering to LOTO protocols and OSHA regulations

Requirements
Essential Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years working in industrial maintenance

Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial electrical systems

Proven ability to repair and diagnose mechanical equipment

Hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Competence in interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Must possess personal hand tools

Ability to thrive in a demanding heavy manufacturing environment
