Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting patient health through evidence-based techniques. Your expertise will help patients manage acute pain, enhance mobility, and restore balance within their bodies. This position includes covering two offices one in dtla ,and the other in Reseda.
Duties
- Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and precise needle placement to target specific pain points and physiological imbalances.
- Apply advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy to release muscle tension and reduce pain effectively.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and self-care practices to maximize health benefits.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations, (soap notes)
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining proper sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans that incorporate acupuncture alongside other therapies for optimal patient results.
Experience
- Valid licensure as an Acupuncturist in the relevant state or jurisdiction with current certification from a recognized licensing board.
- Proven experience in managing acute pain conditions through acupuncture and related therapies such as trigger point therapy.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
- Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and the application of evidence-based acupuncture methods.
- Prior experience working in a clinical setting that emphasizes patient service, care quality, and safety standards is highly desirable.
