Title: Front End Team Member (full time)
Reports To: Front End Manager
Job Summary
As a Front End Team Member at Palmer’s you will be the ambassador for customer interactions; we are striving for a 5 star experience everyday! You will provide exceptional customer service from entry to exit assisting customers to locate items, process transactions efficiently, and providing a lasting positive impression. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, working well within a team to complete other projects throughout the store to elevate the customers’ experience!
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an Ambassador: provide shoppers an elevated, fun, and memorable shopping experience
- Welcome customers, answer their questions, help them locate items, and provide advice or recommendations
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit and issue receipt
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy store checkout areas, aisles, and parking lot (cart runs, stocking, facing, garbage removal)
- Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages/flowers
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Ambition to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- High level of energy with strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work 35+ hours per week (full time - 35)
- Flexible schedule in morning, and nights based on store needs
- Weekends and Holidays are a must
- Actively participate with all company standards and values

Joining as a Front End Team Member, you will have the opportunity to grow and explore other departments in which you are interested at Palmer’s Market. Cross training, and specialized experience will be provided as we learn more about your skills and interests!
We are giving preference to those applying full time with open availability (Open: 7am daily. Close: 8pm weekdays, 7pm weekends).

Pay: $16.94 - $18.00 per hour
