Senior Systems Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud

Our engineers work directly with customers on projects ranging from server refreshes and virtualization to Microsoft Azure deployments, Cisco networking, unified communications, and enterprise infrastructure modernization.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure for our customers.
Our engineers support diverse customer environments utilizing VMware, Hyper-V, Pure Storage, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Datto, Cisco, Meraki, HPE, and other leading technologies. While every engineer is expected to support this broad technology stack, we are specifically looking for someone who can strengthen and expand our Microsoft infrastructure and cloud capabilities.
This is a customer-facing consulting position with a strong emphasis on project delivery, technical leadership, and solving complex infrastructure challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support Windows Server infrastructure
Implement and maintain Hyper-V and VMware environments
Deploy and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure
Configure and support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
Perform infrastructure assessments and health checks
Lead server migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects
Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
Troubleshoot complex server, virtualization, storage, and networking issues
Produce customer documentation and implementation guides
Work directly with customers throughout project lifecycles
Participate in technical planning and solution design
Required Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience
Strong Windows Server administration experience
Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent customer communication skills
Ability to independently lead technical projects
Willingness to travel to customer locations throughout New England as needed
Preferred Qualifications
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Microsoft Azure infrastructure
Additional Experience Considered a Plus
- SAN storage (HPE, Dell, Pure Storage, NetApp, etc.)
Desired Certifications
One or more of the following is preferred:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
Equivalent experience will always be considered in place of certifications.
