Position Overview
The Outside Service team is responsible for delivering an exceptional golf experience by providing outstanding service to members and guests while maintaining the daily operations of the golf facilities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with people, and taking pride in creating a welcoming, first-class environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Member & Guest Service
- Welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Assist with loading and unloading golf bags.
- Ensure member clubs are handled carefully and stored properly.
- Clean clubs upon request or as part of club standards.
- Provide prompt assistance before, during, and after each round.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist with tournaments, member events, and outings as needed.
Golf Car Operations
- Prepare and stage golf cars each morning according to club standards.
- Clean, wash, and detail golf cars after each use.
- Inspect golf cars for cleanliness, damage, and proper operation.
- Refuel or recharge golf cars as required.
- Plug in all electric golf cars at the end of each day.
Bag Room Operations
- Pull member bags each morning and return them after play.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly bag room.
- Ensure push carts and rental equipment are clean and readily available.
- Assist with inventory and organization of golf equipment.
Driving Range Maintenance
- Set up the practice facility each morning.
- Pick the driving range throughout the day.
- Wash and rotate range balls.
- Keep all ball pyramids or baskets stocked.
- Maintain a clean and organized practice facility.
- Close and clean the range each evening.
Facility Maintenance
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Complete daily laundry duties, including towels and cleaning cloths.
- Keep the cart barn, bag room, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Assist with general clubhouse and golf operations as assigned.
- Report equipment or safety concerns to management promptly.
Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, golf course, or outdoor work experience is preferred but not required.
- Golf knowledge is helpful but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry golf bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
