Are you someone who understands trucks and trailers and enjoys working directly with customers? FleetPride is looking for a Heavy Duty Mobile Service Writer to join our Wichita team. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to keep a fast-paced service operation running smoothly.

What You'll Do
As a Service Writer, you'll serve as the key connection between our customers, mobile technicians, and service department by:
- Communicating estimates, repair schedules, and service details with customers
- Coordinating repairs and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time
- Supporting the Service Manager and technicians with daily operational needs
- Opening repair orders and preparing invoices
- Scheduling repairs and following up on work in progress
- Managing road call coordination, purchase orders, and vendor arrangements
- Processing cash, credit card, and charge account payments
- Maintaining customer records and account information
- Answering incoming calls and providing exceptional customer service
- Ordering parts and office supplies as needed
- Maintaining an organized and professional office environment
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical understanding of heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Ability to communicate repairs and service recommendations clearly and professionally
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with G-Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Experience in the heavy-duty truck, trailer, fleet, or service industry
- Ability to upsell FleetPride products and services when appropriate
