Mill Springs Academy is seeking a passionate, collaborative Lower School (K-5) Teacher to inspire and support students with learning differences in a dynamic, student-centered environment. We are looking for an educator who values differentiated instruction, builds strong relationships, and is committed to helping every child discover their strengths.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom that supports academic and social-emotional growth.
Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.
Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to meet individual student needs.
Foster executive functioning, confidence, and independence.
Participate in professional development and school community activities.
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of elementary teaching experience.
Special Education background or endorsement preferred.
Orton-Gillingham training or experience strongly preferred.
Experience working with students with learning differences is a plus.
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and educational technology.
