Looking for a Property Manager with at least three years of experience in residential property management in New York City. Properties and satellite offices located in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Corporate office is in Lower Manhattan.
Current opening is for a portfolio on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect and maintain constant presence at properties
- Manage onsite building staff
- Negotiate contracts and supervise all contractors and vendors
- Oversee building wide repairs, renovations, upgrades, and construction
- Manage unit turnovers and renovations
- Coordinate with in house leasing team, brokers, and building staff to prepare and lease units and facilitate move ins
- Inspect apartments prior to tenant move in and after tenant move out
- Ensure compliance with various government programs including Section 8, HUD and others
- On call for emergencies overnight and on weekends
- Manage Code compliance including HPD, DOB, ECB, and FDNY violation removal
- Compose emails and letters using proper format, punctuation, and grammar
- Interact with tenants via text, phone, email and property management apps
The successful candidate will:
- Be proactive and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently, collaborate as a team, and effectively manage multiple tasks
- Have excellent communications and resident relations skills
- Have supervisory experience
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience in Property Management in New York City
- Have a working knowledge of HPD, DHCR, DOB and ECB regulations
- Be familiar with construction and building systems including boilers, electrical, and plumbing
- Be proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn and use web-based property management software. Experience with Yardi Voyager a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
