Overview:
Fintrix solutions on behalf of our client ( a Homecare Agency) is conducting a search. An excellent Human Resources Manager, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication, recordkeeping, and research skills; able to analyze information; make judicious decisions; possess conflict resolution skills: and people management skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goals are to ensure that client and employee services are provided timely and efficiently, and to promote the agency in a positive manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the recruitment process for skilled and non-skilled candidates, using standard practices and creates new practices
- Schedules and conducts interviews, pre-employment testing, and orientation sessions
- Conducts confidential background clearances and reference checks
- Writes and updates job descriptions
- Conduct investigations pertaining to employee-related complaints and concerns
- Performs benefits administration duties, such as communicating benefit information to employees, determining eligibility of benefits, and a liaison between agency and benefits coordination firm.
- Manages progressive discipline process, up to and including the coordination of involuntary employee separation. Sends appropriate notices for all disciplinary actions.
- Communicates with legal counsel on employee issues, such as discipline, harassment, discrimination, etc.
- Prepares performance evaluations
- Completes Unemployment Compensation (UC) forms, communicates with the payroll UC representatives, and attends UC hearings.
- Verifies employment and income for employees
- Enters required information for prospective, new and terminated employees in the applicable client and payroll computer platforms.
- Represents agency at various meetings and public events, regarding services, programs, and projects
- Compiles data for HR-related reports
- Maintains office staff time and attendance
- Supervises HR Assistant, clerical staff, and front desk personnel
- Ensures the employee files comply with federal, state, Department of Health, and contracted organizations’ rules and regulations
- Attends staff meetings and trainings, internal and external.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Generalist or in a supervisory role
- Experience in customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the operation of office equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Reliable, patient and professional
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Salary- Up to 55,000 with benefits
Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
