A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support bidding and project planning efforts for asphalt paving, excavation, site development, and utility projects. This role is ideal for someone with estimating experience who also understands project execution and operations.

Prepare estimates and bid proposals for heavy civil construction projects

Review plans, specifications, and contract documents

Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate cost estimates

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing

Assist with project planning, budgeting, and cost tracking

Collaborate with field operations and project teams throughout the project lifecycle

3+ years of experience in estimating, project management, or preconstruction within heavy civil construction

Strong background in asphalt paving, excavation, site development, utilities, or roadway projects

Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications

Experience with estimating and takeoff software preferred
