JOB SUMMARY:
Provide Accounting Support for Golf, Activities & Admin (Front Desk) Departments
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Review and Process daily close-outs for assigned departments, research discrepancies and take corrective action as necessary.
2. Communicate daily close-out errors to relevant personnel, provide feedback and training as needed to improve processes and reduce errors.
3. Process weekly invoice batches for assigned departments (invoice approval, coding and entry) for weekly check run.
4. Provide ongoing accounting support for assigned departments (answer accounting questions, instruct on transactions & assist in problem resolution)
5. Recognize & resolve accounting issues as encountered.
6. Perform month end close duties for assigned departments (account reconciliations, adjusting entries and revenue recognition).
7. Maintain all related support schedules (Excel) for month-end close.
8. Compile and prepare golf statistics and financial data for reporting and analysis.
9. Conduct monthly cash count of all assigned departments.
10. Frequent interaction with employees from assigned departments.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Special projects and other duties as needed.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Above average computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, database and email. Accounting software experience preferred. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal dispute resolution communication skills.

3. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
2. Some college level accounting courses preferred.
3. 2 years previous accounting experience.

NORMAL WORKING HOURS and DAYS: Full-time. 8 am-4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunchbreak. (Days/hours will vary by department, overtime as required).
COMPENSATION: $24-$26 hourly with full benefit package including vac/hol/float/Med/Den/Vis/Life/401k+match and more.
