Union Pines Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to work at our outpatient orthopedic ambulatory surgery center.
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will work in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center, caring for primarily orthopedic-focused surgical patients, with some plastic surgery.
Responsibilities:
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will be responsible for facilitating the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. You will prepare the surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions, as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures. Assist surgeons with requested instruments and supplies during surgery.

Schedule:
· Monday to Friday: (Shift times may vary)
· No Call – late stay shifts are required
· No weekends and No Holidays
Requirements to Apply:
- High School diploma equivalency with 1-2 years of cumulative Hospital OR or ASC experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- · BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained before hire date or job transfer date OR Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
