FootLites Dance Studio is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Ballet Instructor (with Contemporary/Lyrical experience preferred) to join our teaching team!
We are looking for an educator who loves helping dancers grow technically, artistically, and personally. Our studio serves dancers of all ages and abilities, from recreational students to competitive dancers, and we are committed to creating a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Teach ballet classes for various ages and skill levels
- Provide strong technical instruction while encouraging confidence and artistry
- Help students develop proper alignment, technique, flexibility, strength, and performance quality
- Create and teach choreography for our end-of-season recital
- Potential opportunities to choreograph for competitive dancers based on experience and interest
- Provide feedback and corrections in a positive and constructive manner
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and abilities of individual students
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and inspiring classroom environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of dance teaching experience
- Strong ballet background and training
- Contemporary/Lyrical teaching or performance experience preferred
- Experience working with children and teens
- Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate dance concepts and technique
- Comfortable teaching dancers of varying ages and skill levels
- Must be 20 years old or older
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic team member

About Our Season
Our dance season runs September through mid-June, with opportunities for additional summer teaching, camps, and choreography depending on availability.
