We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within a multi-shift production cell. In this key role you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while ensuring customer expectations are met.
The Production Supervisor oversees production flow from order release through shipment preparation, manages and develops non-exempt production team members, and collaborates cross-functionally with internal partners to achieve business objectives. Successful candidates will bring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for people, processes, and operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
- Safety Leadership: Foster a proactive, safety-first culture through employee engagement and accountability. Enforce safety rules and champion continuous improvement by identifying and mitigating risks before they occur. Lead initiatives that embed safety into daily operations and team behaviors.
- Production Management: Coordinate all work cell activities from post-order entry through preparation for shipment. Create work orders, establish production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure material availability to meet customer expectations. Provide clear and consistent communication of production updates and adjustments across finance, operations, sales/customer service, and related departments. Partner with internal stakeholders to support production trials for new product development, raw material changes, etc.
- Team Supervision: Manage daily operations within the assigned work cell, ensuring performance against key metrics. Oversee team member selection, onboarding, training, performance, and compliance with company policies. Maintain a visible and approachable presence on the production floor to foster trust and encourage open communication across the cell.
- Quality Assurance and Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to established quality processes; escalate concerns promptly and implement corrective actions. Implement and refine standard operating procedures to drive consistency and quality. Utilize ITW Toolbox principles and lead continuous improvement projects with strong employee engagement.
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary contact for sales, customer service and/or customers on order status and customer inquiries. May manage order receipt, entry and confirmation processes, and support divisional initiatives including material and pricing changes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of manufacturing operations or production supervision experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing production schedules, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on operational and business needs.

Work Environment
- Onsite position based in a manufacturing facility with frequent movement between office and production areas.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Regular sitting, standing, walking, computer use, and communication throughout the workday.
