Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter in Los Angeles, California, to support daily inventory accuracy within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cycle counting, warehouse operations, ERP systems, and stand-up forklift equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with both physical inventory and digital reporting systems.
The Day-to-Day:
- Perform daily cycle counts according to the established inventory calendar.
- Verify the accuracy of physical inventory quantities and compare results against system records.
- Research, identify, and reconcile inventory variances as they occur.
- Analyze inventory data to determine the root cause of discrepancies.
- Operate stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment to move stock and access items for counting.
- Record count results accurately in the cycle count database.
- Reconcile paperwork and inventory transactions within the ERP system.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to process reports, track findings, and maintain digital documentation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse environments.
- Previous cycle counting experience is required.
- Must have forklift certification with stand-up forklift experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
- Experience using an ERP system is a strong plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, stand, and perform physical warehouse tasks for extended periods.
Pay Rate:
$25.00 to $26.00 per hour
