As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients through imaging techniques. - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs

Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses

Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to determine appropriate imaging strategies

Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in radiology

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records

Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology and practices
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution

Active medical license to practice in the state of Virginia

Experience in a radiology setting, preferably as a locum

Strong proficiency in various imaging modalities

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Setting: Onsite
Daily volume: 55 RVUs
Caseload: 40% XR, 35% CT, 10% IR/fluoro, 5% MR, 5% US, and 5% mammo
Required Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drain, chest tube, percutaneous drain, CT/US-guided biopsies, arthrogram, lumbar puncture, and fluoro
