Job Title: Medication Aide (Full-Time, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Location: Symphony Manor Adult Home
Position Summary:
Symphony Manor Adult Home is seeking a reliable and compassionate Medication Aide for our day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). The Medication Aide is responsible for safe and accurate medication administration while supporting residents with daily care needs and promoting a positive, respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Include but not limited to:
Administer medications as prescribed in accordance with NYS DOH and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed
Monitor residents for safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the shift
Respond promptly to call bells and resident needs
Communicate effectively with nursing, management, and other team members
Maintain cleanliness and organization of medication carts and resident areas
Support a positive, respectful, and engaging environment for residents
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in an adult home, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication protocols
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
