Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, skilled, and motivated Handyman / Construction Laborer to join our growing team as a SUB-CONTRACTOR with their own ****LLC/company with General Liability and Worker Comp Exemption*** (REQUIRED). This position involves performing a wide range of construction, maintenance, and repair tasks across different types of projects. Our company primarily focuses on commercial constructions, but we also work on residential projects, property maintenance, renovations, and fix-and-flip projects.
Our projects are located in multiples cities throughout Florida, therefore the selected candidate must be willing and able to travel to different job sites as needed. Travel is required depending on project locations, and flexibility to work in various areas within the state is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform general handyman and construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, electrical work, plumbing, and insulation installation.
- Assist with interior and exterior painting, exterior siding installation, and other finishing tasks.
- Perform block work, rebar installation, and basic masonry tasks when required.
- Assist with repairs, maintenance, and remodeling projects in both commercial and residential properties.
- Support renovation and fix-and-flip projects, including demolition, restoration, and finishing work.
- Install materials such as drywall, insulation, siding, fixtures, and other construction components.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow project plans, instructions, and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Assist other crew members with different construction activities as needed to keep projects on schedule.
Requirements & Skills
- Spanish REQUIRED. English is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in general construction or handyman work.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical work, insulation, painting, siding, and general repairs.
- Basic experience with masonry, block work, and rebar installation.
- Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions, plans, and project specifications.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help in multiple areas.
- Ability to work in commercial construction environments as well as residential projects when required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
