Cleaning Green LLC is hiring an on-call maintenance person to support short-term rental properties throughout the Mad River Valley.
We're looking for someone dependable, responsive, and handy who can help with basic maintenance issues as they come up at vacation rental properties.
About the position:
This is an on-call position with variable hours. Some weeks may be busier than others, and the work will depend on the needs of the properties. It's a great fit for someone looking for flexible, supplemental work who is comfortable responding to maintenance needs as they arise.
Responsibilities may include:
- Basic household repairs and troubleshooting
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Replacing fixtures, hardware, batteries, light bulbs, etc.
- Addressing minor guest-reported maintenance issues
- Basic furniture or household repairs
- Identifying problems that require a licensed professional
- Communicating clearly about what was found and what was completed
- Other general maintenance needs associated with short-term rental properties
We're looking for someone who:
- Has general maintenance/handyman experience
- Is reliable and communicates well
- Can work independently and problem-solve
- Has reliable transportation
- Is comfortable with an on-call, changing schedule
- Can respond reasonably quickly when time-sensitive issues arise
- Takes pride in doing things correctly and leaving properties guest-ready
Cleaning Green LLC operates in both Vermont and Colorado, so please pay close attention to the time zone listed when scheduling an interview. Our Vermont positions are in the Eastern Time Zone, while some company scheduling and interviews may involve our Colorado operations in Mountain Time.
