Duties
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security issues.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property.
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization before granting access.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
- Enforce loss prevention measures by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, providing clear communication during incidents.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Training or certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is advantageous.
- Military or security-related background can provide valuable skills applicable to this role.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and basic emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
