Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and polished Floor Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a refined, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering impeccable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all front-of-house operations during service, ensuring seamless execution
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff to uphold high standards of hospitality
- Maintain an exceptional guest experience, addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly
- Coordinate closely with the sushi chefs and kitchen team to ensure synchronized service
- Manage reservations, seating flow, and VIP guest relations
- Enforce service standards, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and staff performance evaluations
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand, ambiance, and attention to detail
Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi service preferred
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Professional demeanor with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Experience with reservation systems and POS platforms
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
