Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles with precision and safety.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Drive route schedules efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and company policies to deliver goods on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, providing updates as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures related to handling different types of freight, including refrigerated goods and hazardous materials when applicable.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, or refrigerated trailers.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight handling.
- Skilled in manual transmission operation; experience with various truck types such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment; familiarity with freight handling procedures.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.
- Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy loads or standing for extended periods.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per week
