You will play a key role in creating and defining Friendship For Tots culture by supporting an innovative, hands-on, emergent curriculum designed for the children in your care. As a Teacher's Assistant you will assist the Head Teacher in administering, managing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the classroom, ensure provision of services to Friendship For Tots families, and ensure the implementation of a developmentally appropriate program that meets New York State and Friendship For Tots philosophy and guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS:
-Spanish speaking a plus
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or currently working towards it for teaching assistants
- Experience working with children ages 20-months to 4-years-old
- Mature, energetic, compassionate, self-motivated individual
- Ability to be physically active and multi-task in high energy classroom tasks
-Computer literate
