Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the guest experience while maintaining consistency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies; assist with stock ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverages during busy periods or events like banquets and catering functions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, craft beer handling, and spirits experience.
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development and food safety standards within the food service industry.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing; experience with catering or banquet operations is a plus.
- Hospitality industry experience that includes serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to all legal requirements related to alcohol service.
