Dean of Career Education
The Cosmetology Part-Time Instructor will work assigned hours to assist the full time faculty in working directly with students to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory and certifying agencies and deliver theoretical and practical instruction in the field of cosmetology services. The ideal applicant will be one who can demonstrate the ability to work with the Cosmetology faculty to promote and maintain a positive learning environment; teach courses as assigned; assess student performance; ensure safe and sanitary practices by students when practicing cosmetology; ensure client satisfaction by effectively managing clinic floor; counseling and guiding students; assisting in resolving student issues; and, perform other duties as assigned.
Licensed as a cosmetology instructor by the Arkansas Department of Health Cosmetology Section with two years experience in the licensed practice of cosmetology in a licensed cosmetological establishment or in the teaching of cosmetology in a licensed school of cosmetology or any combination of experience thereof.
Additional Information:
Hourly rate commensurate with education and experience.
