Senior Project Engineer
- Plans, designs, and coordinates complex construction, rehabilitation, and/or alteration of railway signal systems.
- Coordinates the activities of assigned project staff and/or contractors in the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.
- Recommends standards and criteria for design and construction for complex engineering projects. Develops designs, proposals, schedules, and cost estimates for assigned projects.
- Evaluates progress and results of engineering activity and recommends changes in procedures of assigned projects.
- Maintains liaison with individuals and units (internally and externally) to facilitate the completion of assigned projects.
- Estimates human and other resources needs and schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
Must be able to prepare CAD drawings using MicroStation.

Education and Experience
- Baccalaureate Degree in electrical engineering and three years of applied engineering experience, to include project management experience.
- Six years of appropriate experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
