Job Summary
Join the Clear Difference team as the Winona Janitor/Cleaner and play a role in maintaining a spotless, and welcoming environment. In this position, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and custodial tasks across one apartment ensuring that every space meets high standards of cleanliness and safety. Your dedication will help create a positive experience for everyone who enters our premises, supporting the overall operations and appearance of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to keep all areas tidy and hygienic.
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including restroom sanitation and laundry, and light kitchen cleaning.
- Perform potential cleaning of studio unit turns and having it clean and ready for the next tenent.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, restrooms, and other designated spaces according to established standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as refill hand soaps and refill toiletries.
- Use proper cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support custodial operations by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential environments is preferred.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks or porter duties is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and proper equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
