American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and remote telemetry monitoring experience, with night shift availability and the ability to float across multiple campuses.

Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a primarily medical-surgical patient population
-
Telemetry-capable unit with remote monitoring
-
Patient ratios of 1:5-6
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
-
Floating to all Cone Health campuses as needed for patient care
-
Epic EMR experience is required
-
Active NC or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Remote telemetry monitoring experience required

Charge RN experience preferred

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of compliance — candidates are encouraged to prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility

EKG exam allows two attempts
