We are seeking a dedicated and passionate early childhood staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development and literacy education.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori approaches, to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Foster communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development, maintaining strong relationships with families.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress, including standardized testing when applicable.
- Engage in physical education activities that promote health and well-being among students.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance classroom experiences and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly desirable.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is essential, with specific experience in toddler care preferred.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and effective classroom management strategies is required.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and tutoring is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
