Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following hygiene protocols.
Requirements
- 1 year of in home care or working with individuals with disabilities
- Driver's License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and patient care standards.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
