About the Role:
We are a real estate business focused on acquiring, remodeling, and managing residential properties. We are seeking a reliable, highly skilled individual to travel to various property sites nationwide to execute hands-on renovation and maintenance projects. Beyond the tools, you will assist with day-to-day operations, including tenant relations and maintenance coordination, with the ultimate goal of helping scale a lean investment business to the next level.
Core Responsibilities:
Construction & Maintenance: Execute hands-on residential remodeling, structural building, general repairs, and landscaping tasks across various property sites.
Property Operations: Assist with tenant outreach, triaging maintenance requests, and coordinating resource allocation to keep properties running smoothly.
Travel & Logistics: Embrace a nomadic lifestyle, moving efficiently between job sites nationwide as project demands dictate.
Documentation & Media: Photograph and video document properties before, during, and after projects for standard rental listings, marketing, and assessment purposes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Required Experience: Proven, solid experience in residential construction, house remodeling, property maintenance, or building trades. Engineering experience is a major asset.
Character: Extremely reliable, honest, highly organized, and naturally frugal with project budgeting and resource management.
Background: Clean criminal and driving record (essential for travel and property management duties).
Lifestyle Fit: A genuine passion for skateboarding and exploring new skateparks. Must be willing and able to travel and relocate frequently.
Preferred Skills (The Pluses):
Management & Administration: Background as an office manager, assistant manager, or experience handling tenant/property logistics.
Forward-Thinking Tech: Interest or background in robotics (such as autonomous property maintenance) and alternative real estate construction methods.
