Rocco’s NY Pizza is seeking a dedicated and skilled pizza maker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We take pride in creating authentic New York-style pizzas, made without pans, screens, or conveyor belts. Our pizza makers hand-toss thin, crispy pies with perfectly blistered crusts. If you can stretch a 20-inch pie quickly and manage a double deck oven during the busiest weekend hours, we encourage you to join our team.
Core Responsibilities
- Hand-stretch and toss dough to a consistent 14\"–20\" diameter without the use of rolling pins or machines.
- Deck Oven Operation: Skillfully manage heat zones in traditional deck ovens to guarantee every slice has the classic NYC \"fold\" and a crispy under-crust.
- Speed & Consistency: Deliver high-quality pizza efficiently, coordinating multiple orders at once in a fast-paced setting.
- Fresh Prep: Prepare house-made sauce, garlic knots, calzones, and strombolis from scratch each day.
- Sanitation: Follow all NV food safety and sanitation regulations. A valid Food Handler Card is required.
Must have verifiable pizza making experience preferably 1 to 3 years.
