What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for developing new business while managing existing customer relationships throughout your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial service and reroof opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and building owners
- Conduct roof inspections and identify repair, maintenance, and replacement opportunities
- Prepare and present professional proposals that address customer needs
- Negotiate pricing and close sales opportunitiesFollow up on estimates and proposals to maximize sales conversion
- Utilize CRM software to manage leads, customer interactions, and sales activity
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
- Collaborate with estimators, operations, and marketing to provide an outstanding customer experience
- Represent Kodiak at networking events, trade organizations, and community functions
- Stay informed on industry trends, roofing systems, and competitive offerings
- Promote a culture of safety while visiting job sites
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, solving customer problems, and building lasting business relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Outside sales experience (commercial construction, roofing, facilities, building products, or related industry preferred)
- Proven ability to develop new business and close sales
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Comfortable working independently in a field sales environment
- Experience using CRM softwareBasic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Ability to climb ladders and access commercial roofs safely
Ability to work outdoors during site visits in varying weather conditions
