Duties
- Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards
- Clear and clean tables promptly by bussing, removing used dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining spaces
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning duties to uphold sanitation standards and ensure a tidy work environment
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process guest orders when required for seamless service flow
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while providing in-person customer service and guest support throughout their dining experience
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety protocols is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during busy service periods
- Experience with food running, serving, or banquet service is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality or guest services experience will help you excel in delivering exceptional customer experiences
