Drip Drop Café runs on good energy. We’re looking for someone who naturally makes a room feel better, someone friendly, warm, and great with people.
If you can make drinks but can’t bring the energy, this probably isn’t the right fit. No shade, we just know what our regulars respond to.
Our coffee shop is built on a strong foundation of traditional espresso drinks, with a big focus on creative, flavor-driven specialty drinks.
For this reason, you must be a strong, knowledgeable barista who’s confident in your craft and open-minded.
What You’ll Do (with a smile):
- Greet, serve, and chat, it’s all about making people feel seen
- Memorize regulars’ orders and names (they notice)
- Bring drinks and pastries with personality
- Hold the door open, help someone with a stroller, just be kind and attentive
- Keep the cafe sparkling inside and out
- We pride ourselves on providing exceptionally crafted traditional espresso beverages, while also offering a unique arrangement of fun specialty drinks and sizes (8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, for lattes, cappuccinos etc.) So know your lattes, cortados, macchiatos, etc. like the back of your hand, but also keep your mind open to more cutting-edge creations.

Before hiring, we do a 1 to 2 day PAID TRIAL RUN to ensure we are a good fit for each other.

Compensation:
$17 to $23 per hour + tips from weekly tip pool
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Are you willing to show off your skills as a barista at our cafe and create a few espresso-based beverages for the hiring manager at your interview?
- Do you have a solid understanding of milk/foam/espresso ratios for all common espresso-based beverages? e.g. latte, macchiato, cappuccino, cortado, etc. And would you be able to explain differences between certain espresso beverages at an interview?
- Have you worked as a Barista in the last year?
