Atlas Stamping and Manufacturing Corporation is looking for an experienced machine operator to join our production floor. Atlas is a leading producerof small, precision, metal-stamped parts--regularly shipping washers, seals, brackets, and shims. Atlas primarily works with customers inside the aerospace industry. Atlas-made parts can be found in airplanes, power plants, and health care devices. Machine Operators work with the variety of machines on our production floor--typically press machines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment in accordance with training and established standards
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Complete production runs and keep records of approved and defective units or final products in accordance with quality and scheduling requirements
- Assist with basic cleaning and housekeeping
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Learn and develop into Lead Machine Operators.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Manually manipulating small parts
- Bending and lifting up to 75 pounds without assistance
