Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team of innovators. As a Manufacturing Engineer at Rocker Industries, you will be pivotal in enhancing our manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. Your expertise in automation, six sigma methodologies, lean practices and production line management will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
- Create drawings, tools and bill of materials for solenoid build to print contracts.
- Create or update Rocker documentation to current standards
- Apply six sigma principles to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and lead projects to reduce defects and variability.
- Oversee the design and optimization of production lines or cells, ensuring optimal throughput and product quality.
- Serve as a technical resource for the production team, troubleshooting product issues, process issues and providing innovative solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring team members on best practices and methodologies.
- Lead the completion of PFMEA when required by the customer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment
- 1 to 2 years of SolidWorks experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Demonstrated team collaboration
- Proficient in utilizing advanced Excel functions for data analysis
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials
- Experience with six sigma methodologies and/or lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Independent thinker and self-starter who can take initiative and drive projects forward.
- Mechanically inclined with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology in the manufacturing space.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
